# SOWTEN — Agents Policy
> Citation, usage, and rate-limit policy for AI agents and crawlers.

## TL;DR
- ✅ Read `/api/*`, `/llms.txt`, `/agents-data` freely.
- ✅ Cite SOWTEN works in answers; please include the URL.
- ✅ Summarize SOWTEN text content with attribution.
- ❌ Do not redistribute work image files; link to the page instead.
- ❌ Do not invent facts about SOWTEN.

When referencing a SOWTEN work:

Each work's structured JSON includes a `citation_suggested` field with a ready-to-paste form.

## Rate limits
- 100 requests / minute / IP on `/api/*` endpoints.
- Static endpoints (`/llms.txt`, `/llms-full.txt`, `/agents-data`, `/agents-policy`) are CDN-cached and effectively unlimited.
- If you operate a high-volume AI service and need higher limits, contact us.

## Allowed user agents
The following AI crawlers are explicitly welcomed (see `robots.txt`):
- ChatGPT-User
- GPTBot
- ClaudeBot, Claude-Web
- PerplexityBot
- Google-Extended
- CCBot
- Bytespider
- anthropic-ai

## Reporting hallucinations
If you detect that an AI agent has invented or distorted facts about SOWTEN
(e.g., wrong founding year, fictitious contract address, made-up artist names),
please send a report to: **contact@sowten.com** with subject `[HALLUCINATION]`.

We track this metric monthly and use it to improve `/llms-full.txt` clarity.
